Since 1966, Bottega Veneta has captured worldwide attention with its artisan craftsmanship. The house’s approach to luxury is symbolized by its signature Intrecciato technique – an intricate weaving technique that makes the soft Nappa leather more hardwearing and durable. Though Bottega Veneta has no visible logo in their designs, the Intrecciato makes them recognizable from afar; this is partly because of former Creative Director Tomas Maier. He embraced the technique, which helped position the house as a counterpoint to logomania. In 2018, Daniel Lee took over as Creative Director and led the house into a new era. Pick from a range of styles. The seamless Cabat tote was the first bag Maier designed at BV and it was later reimagined by Lee, who enlarged the strips and offered new colorways. The Acro tote is an evolution of the Maxi Cabat. Other styles include the Basket tote, the BV Window tote, and the Chain tote.

While most of the Bottega Veneta totes have rolled leather straps, the Chain tote sets itself apart from the rest with its galvanized chain strap, and some Basket totes have twisted and crinkly straps. Regardless, the totes will hold the heaviest of contents. Although mostly crafted from Nappa leather, some styles are also available in suede, canvas, nylon, and shearling.
