Prada Galleria Bags

Since its debut in 2007, the Prada Galleria Bag has taken the world by storm and is one of House’s most recognizable styles. The bag is named after Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the prestige arcade in Milan, where Mario Prada opened the original Prada store in 1913.

More about Prada Galleria Bags

Introduced in an era of flashy It-bags, the Galleria Bag’s minimalistic and functional design encompasses everything the brand stands for – to transcend trends. Though minimalistic, each bag is made of 83 pieces and takes over six hours for the artisans at the Scandicci factory in Italy to produce. From the rolled top handles and nylon logo jacquard lining to the name tag and logo plaque, every piece of the bag is carefully glued and sewn together.

Crafted from Prada’s signature Saffiano leather, the bag is perfect for everyday use as it is sturdy, water-resistant, scratch-resistant yet elegant and classic. It has a main compartment, two outside zipper pockets, and interior pockets. Other versions of the bag have two main compartments, a zipper pocket in the middle, and several smaller interior pockets. It is also available with just one main compartment and several interior pockets. The bag comes with a removable shoulder strap, so you can carry it as a crossbody or shoulder bag.

The Galleria Bag comes in various sizes: micro, mini, small, medium, and large. It is also available in a gallery of colors such as black, blue, grey, and blush pink. Discover The Vintage Bar’s selection of the iconic Galleria and find discontinued styles.
